Sylvia's Thoughts

Hello Everyone!

HubPages is really a great experience! I have met, and continue to meet the most wonderful and interesting people. Currently I live in the high desert of Southern California with my children and am a freelance writer at Examiner.com. Finding ways to make money really puts all of my creative skills to the test. I am just getting my feet wet in the area of fiction writing. I have always loved writing and now I have the time to do it. Writing doesn't pay all the bills yet, but hey, it's my passion. 

I am a  musician who loves all kinds of music. When I say music, I really mean music, not the crap they're turning out today.  I love to cook, and while I cook food from many different countries, my favorite is southern cooking (because those are my roots). And baking, what can I say, I'm really good!

Even though it's a tad bit hard making ends meet most of the time, I consider myself greatly blessed. For I look around me and I know that I have a great deal compared to a lot of people here and all over the world.

I look forward to reading your hubs and commenting and sharing experiences.
